This policy describes how DENIS VTC processes your data within the “DENIS — Passenger” app, in compliance with the GDPR.
1. Data controller

2. Data we collect
- Identification: first/last name, email, phone number, profile photo;
- Location: your position while the app is in use, to set the pickup point and track the ride in real time;
- Transactions: ride history; payments securely processed by Stripe (we do not store full card numbers);
- Technical data: device identifiers, notification token (FCM), model, diagnostics;
- Camera and photo library: only to add a profile photo.
The Passenger app does NOT use background location or the microphone.

4. Recipients and processors
- Google Firebase (authentication, real-time database, notifications, analytics);
- Google Maps (mapping and routing);
- Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd. (payments);
- Real-time messaging provider (MQTT) for ride tracking.
During a ride, your first name, photo and location are shared with the driver strictly as needed to complete the trip.
5. Transfers outside the EU
Some processors (Google, Stripe) may process data outside the EU, governed by Standard Contractual Clauses.
6. Retention
- Account: while using the service, then deleted/anonymized after closure;
- Invoices and history: up to 10 years (accounting obligations);
- Location: only for the duration of ride tracking.
7. Your rights
- Access, rectification, erasure; restriction and objection; portability;
- Withdraw consent at any time;
- Complaint to the CNIL (www.cnil.fr).

8. Security & minors
Appropriate technical and organizational measures (encryption in transit, access control). Service restricted to adults (18+).
